It means religion. There is no other way. You have to believe in Christ to be spiritual. This new age stuff is garbage and evil.

Hi Sid,

I think the origins of the word, spirit is highly indicative of its true meaning which is breathe or breath, as in the "breath of life". I have heard that when we breathe (and there are Masters who dedicate their lives and themselves to the art of breathing) we are inspiring, if you will the "vitality" of the Creator, thus spirit is the vital life force of the Creator. It is in Him and of Him as we are and is the Life that flows between us.

What is the spiritual path?

I believe we are all on a spiritual path, know it or not because there is no other way. Some of us choose to acknowledge that responsibility and others do not, but truthfully, it's all OK either way. We are all learning, growing, evolving to become more refined in who we are.

To consciously choose the spiritual path though, is a a bit different in that it is a great responsibility, and not one that should be entered into lightly because there is no turning back once you are on it, ( ...although I do believe it's OK to rest every now and then.) : )

It is a calling, if you will, one that no one has to tell you that you have because you consciously know it as soon as you are old enough to reason or think for yourself. ~ * I've spoken with many "spiritual" people who are "on the path" so to speak, and every single last one of them has told me that they understood that concept back when they were just 3, or 4 or 5 years old. They knew it. They understood their connection to God and no one had to sit down and explain the doctrines of any religion or tell them a thing. They simply knew their place within the grand scheme of life and they were committed to work from there.

But back to the spiritual path, it also requires other than merely knowing it, constant self-evaluation, and communication with the God of our hearts; however, we understand that connection to be.

And most importantly, it involves service; that is, a vow to help humanity in any way that you find in your power to do, even if it is only to pick up a can of soup for the little old lady at the grocery store. -

And it is being in service with joy! Committing to tasks that we can complete with joy! : )

You new age types are forgetting something. God only means what the Bible says. It is not the God of your heart. God demands obedience and faith and worship. Christ gave his life for our sins, yet you continue in a course of blasphemy in this stupid blog. Get a life, get God and forget all this stuff.

Spirit is a soul, which connects to the spirituality path with a medium. It is a way to connect with god and make you self dependent to lice a spirituality life.
